Dell c610 laptop problem

my dell c610 has lost the function of the o,l, and period buttons. I am hoping its a software issu. I am hoping someone has encountered the same problem.....help!!!

That sounds like a bad keyboard to me. You should be able to get a new one from Dell or eBay for $25

Agreed, most likely bad keyboard. Only possability maybe a loose cable, but very slim.
