dell c600 network card question

the c600 notebook has modem and nic built into the case. is the networking functionality on the motherboard or supplied by a mini pci card?

It has a modem/NIC combo mini-PCI card.

Like the other guy said, it has a mini pci combo card - it can also be replaced with a wireless minipci card with a suitable patch cable. Which is what I've done on mine, much more useful although the internal wireless antennas aren't that great.
