I just retrieved my catalog out of the garbage. I threw it out because the code was not working and no where does it say on the catalog that you have to wait until April 1st. I shall try again in a couple of days.

My code worked over a week ago. It said something lame like $300 off...bah, I wanted a plasma TV for $499, lol.

So getting the 5k off coupon is about as likely as winning the lottery ehh...

I get a magazine mailer from dell - not sure if thats where these are coming from but I am game to try it out ;-)

Bah, I got the $30 off of $399.

I also think the getting $5000 off of $5500 is like winning the lottery. Seems only like 1 person wins.

I would hope it's better odds, I don't think dell sends out over 100 million of these mailers. I could see maybe a million or so however... I would bet there is more then one $5000 code also...

Maybe there are more than just one, I'm betting there are a few, maybe even several $5000 off coupons out there. First, even if you get the catalog, not everybody will check the code, and even if you have a winning code, you may not have the $$$ to pay the rest of the balance. It's probably considered low-risk for Dell to throw several $5000 off codes out there.
