Dell Axim x50v + Bluetooth Phone + Unlimited GPRS/Edge Data Service = :)

Just got a new Nokia 6230 with unlimited data service.

Now between home & open wifi networks and the GPRS network I can surf ATOT from essentially anywhere.

Now give me a !!!

I've only been using it for a few hours so far but the speeds seem ok as long as I have at least 2 or 3 bars of signal.

GPRS is still slow, so is your x50v. get a laptop with bluetooth is better.

I have a latop with 802.11 A, B &G and GPRS card .. The Axim is just easier to carry around..

agreed.

that's why i use hp dv1000 + nokia 6230 via bluetooth + unlimited t-mobile EDGE. get a lotta looks on the trainride to work.

far far easier. you notice the difference when you want to watch a movie file or surf the net on the train.
