Dell Axim X5 size comparison shots compared to other PocketPC's

I had noticed that before. It's one of the things holding me back. However, it's not that different from the ipaq or jornada size and those models don't bother me. The Viewsonic is just extra-slim. Of course, the viewsonic sacrifices the extra featres like two slots, removable batteries, and longer battery life.

Well, the two slot thing isn't really an issue (to me at least) since the V35 already has 64MB onboard and an SDIO slot. Also, the iPAQ 1910 is even smaller than the V35 and it has a removeable battery...

So I'm still not seeing the need for the Dell's extra bulk considering that it is even larger and heavier than other dual slot PocketPC's like the Maestro, e550G, and e740 (which has Wi-Fi, a removeable battery, AND dual slots).

Though there is a noticable difference between the V35 and AX5, the AX5 is not as big as some people has made it out to be. I went down to the mall the other day to see it in person. This thing is NICE! This thing is a perfect size for me. It fits perfectly in any of my pant pockets, even straight leg jeans. I've decided to get the AX5 when it's been out for a few weeks, just to make sure there's no major problems with it.
