Help me make up my mind! I've been reading reviews and specs up the wazoo and I'm still stuck in a hot spot! I'm leaning more towards the 2215 right now because it's smaller and weighs less. Plus the SDIO doesn't hurt. Battery life isn't a huge issue, because I'll never be gone from the cradle long enough to worry about it (plus I can always buy another 900mah battery).

So what are the benefits of the axim x5 over the 2215? I plan to get one with a PXA255 proc. no matter what I do. I'm also seriously considering the 1945, because the 19xx's screen I've heard is brighter and more vibrant and plus I can always o.c. the cpu to run stable @ above 300MHz. SOS!

1945's screen is inferior to the 1910's and the 2215's. It has a yellow hue to it when you tilt the screen. Read just about any review of the 1945 and you'll hear about it.

The 2215 ownz the Axim. There is no comparison. The 2215 is MUCH lighter and it's thinner as well. The 2215 comes with integrated Bluetooth, SDIO and is fast as hell. Not to mention it looks better and HP has EXCELLENT third party support for cases/chargers/adapter/keyboards/etc.

Yeah NSF4, I am reading a 1940/1945 review right now and it mentions that. I guess it's a no go for me on that. I'm pretty much going to be deciding between the 1940/1945 and X5 Adv. Both great contenders, but like I said, I'm still leaning more towards the 2215 due to the sdio slot and bluetooth for future expandibility purposes.

Can you provide links to the reviews you are reading? I am looking for one of those devices, too and need to make up my mind. I am also considering the H5555 because of wireless (b) and bluetooth build in.

i thought 1945/1940 does support SDIO based on hpshopping.com tech details page.
I would go with 2215 because it's definitely faster and has more expansion capability.

Well I Just made my PDA upgrade decision this weekend and upgraded from a V35 to the Toshiba e755.

I'm actually posting from the device right now.

Who the Fvck needs bluetooth anyway?

I played with the 2215 and it was really small, and felt nice.

You can use Bluetooth to connect to your cell phone while you still have the phone in your pocket and connect to the internet. I also use Bluetooth to sync my iPAQ 2215 to my latop instead of lugging a USB cable along. It also uses very little power.

I was going to but my damn message got erased when I was viewing my history! :|
Do a search for SLCentral and BrightHand for the 2210 and 1940 on google.

It does support it. Did I say it didn't? THis was the benfit of the 1940 over the 1910. Only downfall is the yellow screen. Kinda funny though, because we sell the 1940 at OD and I checked it out and couldn't see any yellow for the life of me.

The 2210 seems to be the way to go! Any more insight as to why I should ever choose an Aim over the 2110 now? Price is obvious, but anything else?

LOL. you change PDA's faster than i change my underwear.

But seriously though, I understand that bluetooth is a cool technology, it's just that I don't have a cell phone that has BT, or Laptop that uses that technology.

How many PDA's have you gone through over the years? For the record, I had two top of the line iPaqs, 1 Casio, 1 V35 and now the Tosh e755.
