i got a refurbished one for 160 a few weeks ago, it was x3i which doesn't have bluetooth (who needs it) but has 400MHz cpu, so it actually better than the $299 x30. they had a deal like 15% off + $30 off or something. It has the same warranty, and it looked completely new when I got it.

you can overclock the x30 mid up to 520mhz safely and it has the newest version of windows on it. x30 > x3i

ooohhh the new windows, I wonder what's so great about it, all I need is the basic apps that come with it anyway, the ability to download new apps (which are all compatible with the older windows), and the wifi connectivity. That is better than the strange wifi/bluetooth confusing on/off you have to stunble on every time. And I don't think average users of X3i/x30 overclock their ppc.
