Too good to resist. Oh well, I've needed a PDA for some time. Too bad it won't ship until 9/7. Still, awesome deal!

Doh, I've been staring at this deal for too long. Not sure of what i want to get for my next cell phone, a sidekick or the new h6315 from tmobile... but having a PDA seperate does have its advantages. Especially for a college kid who parties with a cell phone. *sigh* I'll just have to get a more simple phone with bluetooth I guess! :D

I have been looking at this deal closely. The common complaint that is significant to me is the quality of the stylus. This is a big deal if every time you go to use the PDA you are reminded at how crappy the writing / navigating device feels in your hand. Many people complain about it at the review sites. I was wondering since I can't physically test this before I buy one whether the Stylus can be replaced with a 3rd party one and if they sell better quality stylii(?) that also fit the hole for the X30?

I don't think I've seen one yet that also fits into the whole. I think a review said it uses a flat stylus instead of a round kind? Anyway, although I've read that people dislike that in a review it hasn't seemed to really effect the high scores this PDA has been getting.

tmobile offers wireless everywhere for $29 a month using gsps, but its super slow (56k speeds). Useful for me tho since I'm always on the road.

There have been rumblings that a new model with VGA would be out before the end of the year. Everyone should wait for VGA. Once you've seen it you can't go back.
