Dell Axim X30 as wifi base station...?

A group of us college kids got free Dell Axim X30's - I'm here at home though, and all we have is a wired connection. There must be some way to share/bridge the internet connection between everyone here.

I suspect it must be a Proxy server - any ideas?

I don't think that is possible at this time, someday though. Why don't you just find a simple cheap $30 wireless router?

Oh, I see. You talked about your idea for a solution in the summary. In that case you're absolutely correct about only needing software but I don't know of any.
