Dell Axim, rant.

Work bought me a dell axim and it seems pretty nice but the wireless networking SUCKS. It cannot detect any AP unless it has SSID broadcast enabled(i think thats due to WM2003), and i CANT get it to work with broadcast+WEP even though my laptop works ARGH its aggravating not being able to get on the internet with it. It seems nice otherwise, bluetooth works great, but the networking config just SUCKS.

Are you using the Dell WLAN client or Odyssey? If your SSID broadcast is turned off you should still be able to connect if you enter the parameters correctly.

Turning SSID broadcast off isn't a big deal anyways as it can still be found.

I love my Axim. It worked with every wireless network I have tried (Home, school, coffeeshop, etc.)
