I'm having a hard time deciding between the Dell Axim X51 416mhz which just has the bluetooth, or the Axim X51 520Mhz that has the WiFi-B also. The thing is, I don't see myself doing anything spectacular with it besides reading documents, GPS, MP3 playback, etc. So would I be missing out on anything getting the standard version?

What are the respective prices? There have been past deals where people were getting the X51v for <$300.

Wifi on the PDA is a lot of fun because you can browse around easily if you have a router at home or wherever. BT is probably of less use. When purchased separately, I've seen CF wifi cards go for about $30 at the cheapest, but I don't know if you can find one at that price on moment's whim.
Basically, wifi is good, but the $319 unit is overpriced. With that said, I think that a deal like the past x51v <$300 deals are the best, if you don't mind waiting. I'd love to try out a VGA PDA and see if the res is that much nicer than QVGA.

I should probably stick with the basic model. I don't like spending alot of money on things that can't be upgraded. Besides, I can always add-on hardware like Wi-Fi and GPS if and when I need it. Still open to suggestions though...

I checked on ebay and it looks like at the cheapest, you can get a CF wifi card for $30 + shipping. But better yet, the Toshiba e750 PDA, which has integrated wifi only goes for about ~$130. Since PDA's haven't improved much ever since the original PocketPC OS has come out, I think a used PDA is a good bet, especially given how much cheaper the pricing goes.

Cruise around FS/T or the Classifieds at Aximsite.com - you should be able to get an x51v (624MHz, 640x480 screen, WiFi/BT) for under $300.
