This printer belongs to a friend of mine and it prints terrible. Even using the software to clean the print heads it does not print a clean line. I don?t know how old the ink cartridges are but they have 99% ink left according to the software. Are the Print Heads part of the ink cartridge? I haven?t removed them or tried to clean them at this point.

Does anyone have any cleaning tips I could try before using this for a boat anchor?

Any help or experiences are appreciated.
