Dell Advanaced port replicator

I'm considering hooking up my Latitude D630 to a D/Port Advanced Port Replicator and a Dual monitor KVM switch. The KVM is VGA only so my question is whether or not you can use a DVI-VGA adapter on the back of the port replicator and successfully hook it up to a KVM?

I've set up a few laptops with the port replicator in our offices with dual monitors using the dvi-vga adapter.
