I just orderd a Dell 9300 laptop with the 17" screen as the upgrade. I noticed today that best buy had a Gateway Pentium M 735 with a larger 60 gig hd and 512 MB for $899 after instant rebate. This seems to be a better deal than the Dell after the $750 off coupon. Only thing that the dell is lacking is a smaller 15.4" screen.
