I have a Dell 9300 with 2 sticks of DDR2 PC 4300, but the CPUZ reports them as Dual channel at frequency of 200 Mhz and ratio 2:3 (FBS😀ram).
How can I set the memory to the full speed of PC 4300 DDR2 (266 Mhz)?
Wow, that really sucks. Have you tried manually setting it in the BIOS? If that doesn't work, then I'd return it to Dell or try to have tech support send you 2 sticks of DDR2 533.
Mine has 1x1GB stick, and it's Samsung DDR2-533 running on 5-4-4-11. You can't set RAM speeds in the BIOS, so if they are reading out that low you should send it back.
