Dell 9150 Heatsink

Does anyone have an idea how to remove one of these things?

It's either screwed on or clamped on somehow. It's impossible to tell from the pics.
Have you tried looking in the Dell documentation?

It looks like there's a screw holding it in just under the heatsink.

I have removed a Dell 4550 heatsink in the past and all that was required was flipping one clamp lever. You might want to look for a clamp of some sort in your Dell.

EDIT: I never have removed a 9150, but i have removed an 8300 heatsink. Make sure you heat up the thermal pad before removing it, otherwise it will rip the processor out of the socket (kinda like Arctic Silver). I almost had a heartattack. Fortunately, no pins were bent.

Mission completed. I have to say though, people love to hate on Dell but that heatsink is very impressive with the copper bottom, heat pipes and large fins, and it was SO EASY to take off! Very nice job Dell!
