Hello, I have a Dell 8200 system. (P4 1.7ghz 512rdram pc800)

Is this a 100 fsb pentium4? Because I recall seeing it as a 400fsb on the dell support website, but my benchmarks told me it was 100fsb..

is there anyway I can unlock the fsb? Or is there nothing i can do? Please help!
 
If you are trying to overclock, you are out of luck. Laptops from vendors like IBM, HP/Compaq, Dell, etc... don't have that ability because it isn't supposed in the BIOS.
 
Heat would be a Massive issue if one overclocks a laptop. I assume that is what you are trying to do.
