Just got my new Dell - It has one square burnt out and is very annoying - Is this a common problem with these LCD's???

Already have to send the darn thing back!!!

Thanks

All LCDs have a chance of having dead pixles. Its just how it is. both of my laptops (my old i8100 and my new 600m) don't have any dead pixles. Luck of the draw I guess.

Thats why there's that 30 day return policy ;)

I dont think you can return it for one dead pixel. I think Dell says there must be at least 5 with in something like 5 in^2. I just made up those numbers btw.

if the dead pixel is VERY noticeable than they had better accept it back. If its in the corner or such where you would never notice it then its probably not worth the hassle...

Make a big deal outta this and you should get a replacement, but is it worth the multiple week wait??

Dell has a 30 day no questions asked return period, so yes...you can return it.

It is right at the main viewing portion of the screen. I guess I will just have to return it...

Thanks
