Dell 600m heat?

The underneath of my laptop gets really hot. Also the left of the touch pad gets rather warm. Is this normal or not?
 
LOL I just posted a thread about 600M heat problems...

Anyways mine gets hot under and above the hard drive, under the ram, and under the mini pci card.
 
Yeah, same as mine. I guess this is common. It sucks though because it gets really hot. I thought it was defective LOL.
 
Yeah my 600m usually gets pretty hot, especially the compartment for ram. I always keep something underneath it so I don't get burned and surfaces don't get damaged from the heat.
