Dell 6000 Upgradability

After looking at the motherboard chipset for the 6000 it would apear that you could use either a 400 or 533 fsb CPU. I have an Intel 765 that I want to install and I was wondering if anyone has installed a 400 fsb cpu in their 6000 or similar laptop.

Ive had both 400 and 533 FSB processors in my 6000. Both will work.

Yes, the 765 is a 2.1ghz 400mhz FSB processor. No problem...

I wonder if it would pin-mod

Just kidding, I don't think that processor will ever pinmod in a 6000... A 9300/XPS... maybe...
