Dell 4600 Raid 0 Problems

Based on what I read on Dell's website, I'm under the impression that the Dell Dimension 4600 has Raid 0 with Sata drive capability built in (if not than there is my problem...).
I just installed two seagate 120gb SATA drives. I downloaded the SATA RAID: F6 Driver Disk for the Intel 865PE motherboard with Windows 2k OS.
I stick in the Win2k system disk, press f6 when asked. It loads some other drives and the asks if I want to load some drivers for my mass storage devices, I press "s" and insert the floppy. It asks if I want to load up the Intel Raid drivers and I say yes. The floppy runs (loads some drivers I assume) then continues loading some other drivers.
It then asks to load the Windows OS, I say yes. It then gives me the option of loading it on the c (120gb drive) or d (120gb drive).
I thought the Raid 0 setup was supposed to show up as one hard drive under windows??

What am I doing wrong

The Dimension 4600 offers SATA only (no RAID).

You would need to add a RAID controller to get
that functionality.

Petrek, I thought I'd post this just in case you have a problem getting your IDE devices recognized when you install that Promise. When I was trying to install a SIIG and then a Promise card, I kept getting the F1/F2 prompt before windows loaded on my 4600. Everyone was saying clear the NVRAM, which didn't work. I found this fix on a forum, it works fine, so- for what it's worth:

If you have a problem with IDE Devices detecting in the Dell Single Page BIOS, try the reset procedure listed below:
Boot to system setup. Turn on Caps Lock, Scroll Lock, Num Lock,
Press ALT+E then ALT+F then ALT+B
IDE devices should redetect on reboot.

HAHAHAHAH Clear the NVRAM. Oh man, I love that. Having worked there, that was the solution they told us for EVERYTHING!! Except it never did ANYTHING!! Alt F E B basically just resets bios defaults (f for factory defaults, E for NVRAM (pointless) and B to reboot.

Thanks, that was my suspicion, even though their website seems to suggest that it is onboard.
