Dell 3100cn Streaking ...

I have a Dell 3100 cn color laser printer thats about 2 years old. The printer has really started streaking. Its vertical down the page in 2 -3 spots and horizontal at the bottom. Its starting to get worse. Is it worth saving the printer ..could it be the drum or just maybe need a cleaning. Any help would be great.

Probably the drum. I have one that is about 3 years old and still no problems. I doubt I would pay to have it fixed though. When it goes out I will probably try to find one that is smaller and uses a little less power.
