I have a Dell 300m and it comes with a 1.2ghz pentium m i have a 1.4 pentium m on had and was wondering if i could swap cpus. the website doesnt have a cpu upgrade option so I ddint wanna attempt it just yet.
I'm not sure it would be safe to swap out an ultra low volt P-M for a regular P-M.
Additionally Dell usually shows how to remove a processor in their notebooks if possible (at least it does on most of the ones I have looked at). the 300m doesn't even list the processor as a separate part, so maybe it is soldered onto the motherboard.
