dell 3007fpw review

I want this monitor!! Sadly, it is more expensive than the best online price for the Apple Cinema 30 incher once you add tax and shipping. I plan to hold off for a while until more user reviews trickle in and the early bugs are worked out.

One interesting thing from the review was the 3007's contrast ratio. They measured it at 643-667:1 (specs say 700:1). If you look at ExtremeTech's prior review of the 2405, they measured it at 612:1 (specs say 1000:1), so this new Dell is a pretty high-contrast model.

I thought this was overall a great review. The uniformity and black level measurements were especially helpful.
