Do you guys have any idea what can cause flickering?

In some games I dont get this at all. And when using windows desktop it does not occur, but when I play COD2 I get this issue once in a while?

Any ideas?
 
could be a refresh problem with the card or monitor, most likely the card since it doesnt flicker on the desktop. What resolution do you have COD2 at?
