Does the motherboard on the Dell Dimension 3000 have an AGP slot or PCI express slot? I'm comparing two different configurations and on the 3000 it doesn't offer the option of a video card. So, based on the price difference I want to see if it is worth buying the video card after the fact, or going with the 4700 that has a ATI Radeon X300 (128 ram).
Thanks.

Ok, the differences between the 2 configurations are:

The 3000 without the video card has a 3.0g HT P4 and a 8x dual dvd burner. Ultra ATA 100 HD.

The 4700 with the video card (ati radeon 128mb) has a 2.8g HT P4 and a 16x dvd burner, serial ATA HD.

So, which one to choose......the 4700 is $150.04 more.

get the 4700 without the vid card and it should be cheaper...

They both are practically the sme setup....i'd only get the 3000 if you never wanted to upgrae and if u only wanted a typing/web stations. otherwise go with the 4700

This is for a friend who is getting it through work, and based on the build configurations he has to use, he has no option on the 4700 video card. He has to get it if he goes with that model.
I told him to get the Dell at the price he can get it for so that I am not his tech support.
