Dell 30" display is fuzzy when I turn it on sometimes

Sometimes when I turn on my U3011, the picture is garbled like this (http://img705.imageshack.us/img705/7802/photo1ht.jpg). I fix it by turning it off and on. It's connected with a dual-link dvi cable that came with the monitor. What's causing this?

Looks like the DVI clock is skewed a bit. Try a different (a) input on the monitor, (b) output on your GPU, and (c) difference cable.
