Dell 2709 Artifacting

I have a dual setup: A 27" and a 20" both Dells, one's an 06 and the other is an 09.

The 27" ocasionally artifacts, where there's some miscoloration. I notice it anywhere from when I'm Photoshop to an internet browser. Meanwhile, my Dell 20" chugs along like its nobody 's business, no problem.

What cable interface are you using? DVI? DisplayPort?

It sounds like a defect to me - hopefully just the cable but it could be the panel. How long has it been doing that? My Dell 2709W has no artefacting whatsoever over HDMI, VGA or DP.

It may very well be the cable. I've noticed it over the last few months, maybe June.

I use DVI for both LCDs. Maybe I should get an HDMI cable for the 27"?
