Dell 2407WFP Showing Pink/Black thru component?

Was watching tv fine saturday night and then comes this sunday when it only shows pink and black. i dont know what to do. i tested everything on my living room tv and its not a problem. anyone have any idea?

Did someone knock a cable loose?
Or did they mix up the cables trying to reconnect them?

Nope nobody touched it. i brought up my cable box upstairs and its fine. the problem seems to be with the monitor i think.

I just dont understand, i was watching tv saturday night and comes sunday and its showing pink and black. dont know how it just messed up like that.

Hmm...that's a little over my head. The only thing I can think of to ask is whether your monitor has proper ventilation. This equipment tends to cool by convection, which means you need space above, below, and to the side of the device for air to pass through the case. Also try clearing dust from the ventilation areas and let the monitor cool down for 30 minutes or so and then turn it back on.

though dvi and regular composite video work fine.

a shot in the dark but try using a different set of component cables
