Well, I was under the impression that this model would fix the issues of the previous models and add the + high color gamut, but that may not be the case.

Plugged in an AOO version of this monitor today, and it has the worst ghosting I've seen on an lcd in 10 years. Dark green trail nearly 1/2'' inch long, most noticeable on dark backgrounds. The image quality on this monitor is exceptional, but with an medium-fast motion with mouse movement, or games, I'm seeing terrible ghosting.

Has anyone had any good experiences with this version of the monitor? Dell is replacing this one, hopefully with one that works correctly. It'd be nice to know if any people have monitors from this batch that are functioning correctly.

I'll check mine when I get home. I just got it a week ago and haven't noticed anything more than a slight ghosting (which I see on every LCD). So far mine has been the best LCD I've worked with.

k, thanks. to test it, apply a dark background for your desktop and move your mouse around, and look for a trail.

would you mind posting the the rev, and country where it was made as well?

I did the test on a black background and didn't see any more ghosting than I saw before. There wasn't an extended trail on the moving mouse.

I have a AOO that was manufactured in Mexico. It is hooked up to a 2900XT via DVI.

Thanks for the information. Hopefully I don't need a 2900xt to run this monitor without ghosting issues.
