People who bought their Dell 24 couple of days ago are luck since Dell 24in has gone up about $150 in pricing.

I guess they want to cash in the after school crowd.

Couple of days ago, it was $750 after tax and free delivery.

Today it is $931 after tax and free delivery.

Don't worry it will be back at that price at the end of next quarter or sooner, definitely before the start of schools.

More like, "that inexpensive". It's a 24'' monitor, check prices of other tier brands(LG, Samsung, NEC, View Sonic) and come back. Then you'll know why its such a bargain.

Ditto...Most in-expensive 24" ws lcd there is and best bang for the $$$ LCD when the discount applies.

$750 for a 24" monitor expensive? I think you need to come out of the cave a little

The Acer AL2416W is a great and inexpensive 24" monitor - I've had it for a couple of months now. No dead pixels, 6 ms response, 1000:1 contrast ratio, 500cd/m2 brightness. Surprised it hasn't had more press.

Only limitation compared to the Dell is fewer inputs (no component video or memory cards) but it has both VGA and DVI inputs if your interest is primarily as a PC monitor. I believe the panel itself is made by Samsung.

Here's the link:

Just because Samsung and NEC are overpriced, it does not make dell well priced. I am not sure what you guys do for living, but it is difficult for me to spend $350 for the extra 3 inch.

I am sure it is very good monitor, but sometime it is very difficult to justify spending extra for the monitor.

Just curious, what everyone does here for making money?

My thoughts exactly.
