update,find out a color gradient banding problem in dell 2407wfp when display card load the profile
 
Very cool review, not sure I understand it all, but very cool.

This banding thing is starting to scare me away from the 2407 and lean towards the new BenQ FP241W, unfortunately there are no reviews out for it yet.
 
the banding only apear when i load the profile in LUT,normaly 2407 color color gradient are very smooth.

You mean the banding only occurs when you load the custom gamma ramp (calibration profile)?
