Dell 2407 Discoloration

Couldn't decided between this and Video Cards and Graphics, but it seemed the appropriate place. I've used this monitor for quite some time and have noticed some discoloration at this point in its life. Just curious if this is expected aging (which I presume it is) or if there is something I might be able to do to help it. The issue is most noticeable along the right edge and at the first quarter of the panel in from the left in this picture:
