Dell 2405FPW, TV, DVD, Audio

My 2405 is will be here in a few days and I want to know what I need to be able to watch DVDs, TV, and how to play the audio through the huge widescreen monitor. I know for TV I will need a video card with a TV Tuner. How do you change the channels with that? Also, I know that the 2405 has component in for video, but what do I do for audio? Do I need anything extra?

my roomate has a 2005fpw and we hook up my camcorder with svideo and it looks great.. Sound is handled by his reciever and 5.1 speakers. His computer has optical out for computer sound and regular steroo for dvd and the videocam.
