EDIT & UPDATE: I'm so dumb, the problem was that all along I thought I had the cable attached tightly but never screwed it in. Jeez, problem solved and no replacement mess needed.

I'm having a weird problem with my monitor I purchased like a week ago.

I need someone else whoes using the DVI connection on the monitor to do something easy for me.

Can you please jiggle the dvi cable head(where it connects to the monitor) and tell me if your monitor goes into standby mode and won't come out of standby?

This is the problem I'm facing, and the dvi cable isn't loose. I have to physically take the cable out and plug it back in for it to come out of standby.

I have that exact problem!!!

Very weird.....

I have to take the cable out and replace it, it won't come back if I change 'select input'
