I finally got the correct monitor today. Looks like it is DOA. I'm being bounced around queues from manilla to india. Anyone know how to return the stupid monitor and get them to refund my money? the last CSR (Austin) I spoke to who apparently has no ID# says I can't return it.

So I finally broke down and ordered this (ignore the fact it was 60 cheaper a day later).
I monitored Airborne Tracking and saw my 2405FPW had arrived today so I drove home at lunch to see my brand spankin' new monitor. I got home and said "gee, that's kind of a small box for a 2405fpw."... As I get closer I see the box says 2005fpw on the said in big bright soy ink printed letters. I turn the box over and on the other side it says 2005fpw.
I open the packing slip and see 2405FPW... hmmm... seems like a really obivous mistake so I open the box and yep its a 2005fpw. I take the packing slip and come back to work.
Call DELL. Mike CSR #75591 starts asking me about the TV I ordered. did I open the box... uh yeah, but it also says 2005fpw. He tells me 2405's can come in boxes that say different things. Would I open the box and check? I tell him i did and the model # says its a 2005fpw. Mike now wants the serial number. Umm I am at work Mike. Mike says he can't do anything without the serial number. WHAT??? You mean you don't know what you actually shipped me ? Apparently not. spoke to a supervisor and she finally opened a case number after about 4 mins of me ranting at them.
Interesting I did ask to speak to CS in the US during this conversation and she told me there is no longer a customer service group based in the US and hence no one to talk to.
So I guess those US DELL commercials showing bright friendly american CSR's is actually a falsehood now.
anyways, it is beyond me how someone could mistake a box labeled in big letters that says 2005fpw with one that would :Qsay 2405fpw. It shipped out of TX but I will refrain from commenting upon that.
