Dell 2405 viewing angle issues

Hi,

I recently bought a Dell 2405 monitor but i've noticed that the brightness appears to change when I change that angle that I view the screen at. It seems to be darker when i'm viewing from the center and brighter when I view closer to the side. Should this be occuring on a display this has +/- 89 degrees viewing angles?
