I figured this was worth a new post, since the deal is somewhat different from the last version (now the cheap 18" LCD upgrade is gone and the processor is upgraded to P4 2.2 instead of Celeron 2.0).

Click the above link, choose the 2350 system, all the lowest prices choices are already selected. Choose your free gift of digital camera, PDA, or printer. The price is $499 shipped, and you can get 3% back through Fatcash or 2% back through Ebates.

Not the greatest deal ever, but not bad, especially if you were gonna buy a system with an LCD monitor anyway. Deal expires Wednesday at midnight, or whenever Dell decides to change it. Maybe another coupon code will show up...

You are here too ! You beat me even on AT ! I can't believe it.

Personally I will wait for P4 processor with 18 inches LCD..

But a good deal nonetheless !

Also to note...no floppy unless you pay $20 extra. Not a prob for most...but for those interested in reselling the computer and keeping the LCD, this could be a potential problem - no floppy, no CD-RW = no take-data-and-go mechanism unless you spend $$$ for something.

Well said sk3tch. I think I expressed this concern in another thread. I thought I could add a cheaper 3rd party black floppy, but now that I look at it I see Dell has an integrated slot in the front of their case. Anybody know how you add a generic floppy to one of these?

If not, might as well get the 16MB Memory key for the same price.

If I'm not mistaken, you don't get hte floppy cover if you don't order the floppy.

I am not completely sure, but if the case does come with the floppy drive slot on the front plastic piece, you can install a normal run of the mill floppy drive if you take the front faceplate off of it. I've done this before on some of the cases that I've built where this is a slot for the floppies. But like someone also said, it might not come with the slot in the front.

This is a good deal. But I'd probably wait until they offer it with a 18" LCD.
