Well February has come and gone, and still no 2007FPW/2407FPW. Im guessing nobody knows any specs yet but do you think that there is a chance it will use that new LG Philips "AS-IPS" panel that the NEC LCD20WGX2 uses? (6ms g2g, 700:1 contrast, boostable to 1600:1) The viewing angles would also be similar or better than the current 2005FPW so what do you guys think the chances are of Dell using this panel?
 
why is that? too late? i mean dell should have relations with Lg.Philips so shoulda known well in advance about this panels development. why would they not move the game on. besides the current panel is, although good, has too many issues with backlight bleeding. I think they should use the opportunity to upgrade. however no biggie, there will be other manufacturers using the AS-IPS panel anyhow.
 
A very fast 16ms response time? Duh
Not a great gaming panel with that spec
