Just missed out on the recent 2005FPW deal, but I'm asking a friend to buy me one from the US as soon as another deal comes along (hopefully within the next month!)

Have a question for you 2005fpw owners...

Does the 2005FPW have auto-switch voltage capability for use in Asia? HK to be exact... = 220V. Couldn't find info on Dell's website...

I suspect the label on the power supply will tell the story if it's easily accessible...
 
Edit - just found the info:

AC input voltage / frequency / current 100 to 240 VAC / 50 or 60 Hz + 3 Hz / 1.6A (Max.)

So I should be good to go right - Just need to get the cable with the correct plug to the outlet?
 
confirmed. In fact Dell ship the power cord seperately to the monitor. Makes it easier, on big box for the whole world + a öittle one for the country it is going t
