I will give them kudos for a quick turnaround...but this is #2 and it also has some moderate/severe edgelighting problmes...maybe it's time to just buy the Apple.

I also viewed the new Gateway today, and it was a nice monitor, but it didn't seem to get bright at all...but it was running on Windows Media with a Blue Theme...and maybe this caused the problem.

Anyway, does anyone out there have the 2005 and not have problmes?

I don't have this problem - jet black. This was talked about with the older ones but I believe the problem has been remedied from about the middle of last year.

This is my second Rev A03...and it's much better then the first, but not good enough for me. I love the response and brightness...but playing darker games you can still see the light. Third time a charm? I'm not sure how many they will ship before they just say enough is enough?

my 2005 has some backlight bleeding....but it's only noticeable in a dark room with a dark background...

I'm sitting here with a black background and the upper left bleeds (for lack of a better term) 1/3 of the way down, and the lower left corner rises up about 1/5 and stretches 1/3 the way across the screen...and this is with the brightness at 0. The right side is perfect.
