I apologize if the questions are already answered elsewhere on the forums. I did a search and didn't find much useful information (I'm also new to the forums).
Anyways, it looks like the price has gone up on the Dell website - is it a new revision of the same product that they're charging for, or what? I'm looking seriously into buying this LCD within the next month or so and I highly value a warranty, given the fact that I will be using it for work at home.
Also, I was wondering if anybody could suggest a good place other than the Dell website that could be trusted to take care to ship a huge monitor carefully. I've seen a HUGE price difference between the Dell website and other retail outlets (obviously), so I'd prefer to go for the best price. I don't have a whole lot of money to spend, so I'm trying to be as scrupulous as I can. It was already a big enough move for me to decide to move from CRT to LCD, FINALLY.
