Dell 2005FPW Query

This monitor has caught my attention, specially after last week's price-fall & AT's super review. My primary use for such a monitor would be to watch movies, play games, and run general apps. The obvious question that came to my mind was regarding .avi files. Let's say I ripped a movie in 16:9 format using the very popular XVID codec. Now will this movie, when played back, fill the screen completely (or most of it - because of its 16:10 specification) or be played back just the way it would on a conventional CRT (conventional - the picture in the middle of the screen with 2 enormous black bars, one each @ the top & bottom, respectively)?

I hope the question isn't confusing. Thanks.

It probably depends on the media player, but for me, Windows Media Player plays everything in the correct aspect ratio (i.e., 16:9 stuff is played with small black bars only on top and bottom since the monitor is 16:10, as you said).
