Dell 2005fp problems

Ok, so I bought a dell 2005fp and it worked great in my old system. In that system, I was using a radeon 9550. I got a new 939 mobo etc. and a 6600gt video card last night. When I hook up the 2005fp via dvi or vga the monitor is not getting the signal. However, when I use my old monitor (also a dell flat panel) the video comes in fine. Anyone have any ideas why this could be happening?
 
I was checking the dell support forums and I saw someone mention a power save problem where the monitor would get stuck in power save mode. I can't seem to find any mention of that here...
