Dell 2005 FPW on a 6600GT

Hi all,

I am planning to purchase a Dell 2005 FPW monitor whose specifications are available at this link:

I presently own a geforce 6600 GT card.

THe problem is that the 6600 GT works at a max resolution of 1600x1200 in DVI mode whereas the 2005 fpw runs at 1680 x 1050 max in dvi mode.

What will be the max video resolution that i will be able to set. will i get 1680 X 1050 with this video card?

1680x1050 will work just fine with that card. It's actually a lower resolution in total pixels than 1600x1200 is.

(I have a 2005FPW myself, although connected to a 6800GT)

1600*1200 = 1,920,000
1680*1050 = 1,764,000

It'll work just fine.
