I'm not a gamer and not a movie watcher. I've decided against a widescreen because my laptop's max external resolution is 1600 X 1200; I've decided to go with a 20.1" screen.
My two top contenders are the Dell 2001fp vs. the Samsung 204T - both are around the same price. My biggest concern with the Dell is the monitor is older than the Samsung and has a lower contrast ratio...
