Dell 2001FP - Does it really have 16ms response?

Hi, I bought a 2001FP yesterday at a great prifce after seeing it on the hot deal forum. Everything I've read said it had a 16ms response. I looked at the tech specs on dell.com and they do not list response time. I received October 2004 Dell Small & Medium Business Catalog in the mail today and it shows on page 38 the 2001FP has a 25ms response time?!?

Does anyone know if Dell has changed the specs, changed the panel from a LG panel, etc??

I will use the monitor for gaming so response time is important.

Thanks in advance for your help and assistance.

Ironically, response time is the one stat they DON'T list on their specs page for the monitor. Dell 2001FP specs

But I haven't heard anything about it being changed...

Also, they put it on sale again. Mmm.... 20" LCD goodness.... must... resist!

The catalog is the first time I've seen stats from Dell on response time for this monitor. The review on AnandTech talks a lot about it being 16ms.

Yes, the sale is why I bought it. I got it for a total of $689, shipping included!! Couldn't pass it up...

Have you played games on it? That will tell you all you need to know, don't worry about an over-emphasized spec like response time, it can be deceiving.

Damn, just found a stuck green pixel in the dead center of my monitor, this mofo is going back.

I would have kept it had it been in a corner. Funny thing is I dont see it w/ the D-Sub, only using DVI.
