1. My Mom's ti 4200 in her a64 32000+ video editing machine just died yesterday.
2. I had bought a Dell 2001fp which I recieved today.
3. My PC is in the middle of an RMA so my parts are just "lying around"
4. I just got a 9800 pro that I was going to put in my machine once it got back.
5. Her machine needs to be up so I put my 9800pro in her machine:(

Main Question: despite the frequent trolling concerning LCDs, I need a clear and concise answer: Seeing as how my XPC has a built in gfmx400, will it's VGA output be enough to effectively drive the 1600x1200 Dell 2001fp in desktop apps(word) and adaquately play DVD's ?

Thanks.

P.S. I guess I can get her this 9200se so I will actually be able to play games in my machine with the 0800pro. Then again, I REALLY don't want to spend the money if I don't have to.

Well, because my PC is currently out of commission, I am temporarily using the 2001fp via DVI on my mom's machine which has a 9800pro.
