Anyone have this monitor? I'm searching for a big LCD for GAMING purposes, and I've heard talk of this screen being real good for gaming.
Can anyone attest to this from experience?
 
There are a couple of owners around. Try searching this forum.

All reports on this LCD have been very good - on the newsgroups too (I looked all over and saw nothing bad at all) - but with all the LCDs gaming acceptability is very subjective. If you're determined to rid yourself of that money just for gaming the Compaq is probably better, and any decent CRT will whup up on it real bad for ½ the $$.
 
I know that CRT's are better at gaming than current-generation LCD's, but I've already thrown my back-out once lugging my 21" Sony to the KC Beatdown which is held every 6 weeks...
So I'm looking for low weight (my Sony weighs like 90lbs!), decent size (big Sony spoiled me!) & the best FPS gaming performance currently available.
