That's rather weird!

Dell used to be considered THE monitor to own, but...

They (or their Chinese ODMs) decided to scrimp on the on/off button - a sub-penny item, I'm sure.

If the cheap plastic button broke with the monitor on, fine - it was on forever! If it broke in the 'off' position, oh well...

This monitor (linked to above) seems to have a honker of a power button. Unfortunately...

I will never buy another Dell monitor. Once burned, twice aware, you know?

I bought one of these last week for my main desktop. It works great, I see no issues with the power button as of yet. I don't power the monitor off hardly ever though

I think after tax I paid like $112 for mine..something like that
